You may be surprised to learn that Taiwan is a global center for high-end bicycles. Giant, like many other exporters, has suffered in the global economic slowdown. European sales fell this year, but [that] was easily offset by a 33-percent surge in Asia. Paula Hancocks has more on Giant’s journey and the terrain it’s had to tackle.
